" Now it's time to head to the pool and soak up some of this much needed sunshine and start enjoying the outdoors. Remembering my friend, Ethan "I was quiet - he was loud; I liked to walk - he liked to run. I liked Piglet - he liked Scooby-Doo. I would giggle because he was silly; he was my friend. Then one day he got cancer and then he was quiet - I was loud; he liked to walk - I liked to run. We both liked Scooby-Doo. I would cry because he was sick. He went to heaven. I am waiting to see him again, because he is still my friend. I miss you, Ethan. " Love, Jaclyn. Around town Mid-summer is a slower paced time in our little town, but there is still plenty to do. The Fire Co. carnival will be in full swing this weekend over the river in nearby Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Every evening about dusk, a small flying parachute glider drifts over town, adding some color to the local scene. The kids had a great time at the Fourth of July bicycle parade, and many citizens got their fireworks fix in nearby Clear Spring. The pool is open and doing record business this summer with swimming lessons in the morning, general swim in the afternoon and many evening private parties.
