Letters to the Editor 11/10 Baby talk To the editor: There has been much controversy about partial birth abortion in recent times and I would like to say that I cannot understand how anyone could condone such an awful thing. To me it is outright murder. As I thought on that practice recently, some thoughts began running through my mind about "what if" that little unborn child could talk, what would it say? Here are some thoughts that I would like to pass on to the readers of The Herald-Mail that the child may have said: "Mother, I feel so safe here in your stomach, it's so warm and comfortable here.

Letters to the editor You can't deny life to the unborn To the editor: Jan. 22, 1997 marks the 24th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade or more appropriately the Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion. No matter to whom you talk of the pro-choice ilk, regarding the abortion issue; the factor of when life begins is always at the forefront. "Blob of tissue" and fetus are terms used to identify the child inside the mother. Let us set aside the "blob of tissue" and look closely at the term fetus.
