All-you-can-eat pancakes, plus sausage, eggs, bacon, orange juice, coffee and toast. Jan. 4: Funkstown Volunteer Fire Co. membership meeting, fire hall, 7 p.m. Jan. 5: Funkstown Planning Commission, Town Hall, 6:30 p.m. A representative from the Maryland Office of Planning will attend.

HANCOCK - The Town of Hancock will again be part of the Maryland Department of Agriculture's mosquito control program. The Town Council unanimously voted on Wednesday to participate in the program, which will cost the town $600. Mayor Daniel A. Murphy said the program includes spraying larva and adult mosquitoes. Councilman David Smith said that if any town residents have concerns about the spraying, they should contact Town Hall.
