Eight teams of four players competed the evening of Friday, Oct. 27, at the annual club appreciation game during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club. Winning first place in the A stratum was the team of Vince and Barbara Schoeck, Tim Smith and Margaret Peirce. Claudia Reppert, Al Shocket, Nancy Burger and Maxine Gettler came in second in A and first in B and C. Elaine Rowe, Dennis Wick and Howard and Lois Gilbert were third in A. Bob Osburn, Anne Lebherz and Bill and Madeline Davis were second in B. The Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club meets Fridays at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion on Northern Avenue in Hagerstown.

Twelve pairs competed Friday, June 13, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club in Hagerstown. Nancy Burger and Alan Brown finished in first place in all three A, B and C strata with a 60.37-percent game. Tim Smith and Ronnie Orr were second in A with 58.15 percent, and David Abuhove and Tom Janus tied for third place in A with Kathy Goss and Elaine Rowe. They had a 55.93 percent game. Melva Urban and Jean Brinkly came in fifth in A and second in B and C with 51.11 percent.
