Community Service in the Park , Funkstown Community Park, shelter No. 4, Pastor Mike Louia of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will preach on God is With You at the 10:30 a.m. communion service Sunday. A picnic lunch and games for all ages will follow worship. Use the Beaver Creek Road entrance via Robert Kline Way. Inner Court Family Worship Center , Bishop Bertha M. Greene will preach at the Eighth Pastoral Anniversary service Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The service's theme will be Behold I Will Do a New Thing.

Ted Alexander, chief historian at the Antietam National Battlefield, will talk about his book, “The Battle of Antietam: the Bloodiest Day” Thursday, June 7, at Sharpsburg Public Library. Ted will sign copies of his book, available for purchase after his talk. Call the Sharpsburg Library 301-432-8825 for more information. The Sharpsburg Library is a branch of the Washington County Free Library. Sample Manor Church to hold special services The Sample Manor Church of God near Dargan will hold three outdoor “Under Tent” services this weekend.
