Community Service in the Park , Funkstown Community Park, shelter No. 4, Pastor Mike Louia of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will preach on God is With You at the 10:30 a.m. communion service Sunday. A picnic lunch and games for all ages will follow worship. Use the Beaver Creek Road entrance via Robert Kline Way. Inner Court Family Worship Center , Bishop Bertha M. Greene will preach at the Eighth Pastoral Anniversary service Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The service's theme will be Behold I Will Do a New Thing.

Ted Alexander, chief historian at the Antietam National Battlefield, will talk about his book, “The Battle of Antietam: the Bloodiest Day” Thursday, June 7, at Sharpsburg Public Library. Ted will sign copies of his book, available for purchase after his talk. Call the Sharpsburg Library 301-432-8825 for more information. Sample Manor Church to hold special services The Sample Manor Church of God near Dargan will hold three outdoor “Under Tent” services this weekend.
