SALISBURY, Md. - Delmarva scored a run in each of the first four innings, and starter Jeffrey Moore threw six scoreless innings as the Shorebirds defeated the Hagerstown Suns 5-1 Friday. The Suns' only run came in the seventh, as Jhonatan Solano walked and Michael Martinez doubled him in.

SALISBURY, Md. -- Delmarva erupted for 15 hits against Hagerstown in a 6-3 victory over the Suns on Saturday night. Leadoff hitter Xavier Avery led the Shorebirds with three hits, including a triple and a double, and two RBIs. Jacob Julius hit the lone homer of the game and was one of four Shorebirds with two hits. Delmarva led 6-0 before the Suns finally got on the board with a run in the seventh. They added two more runs in the eighth. Steven Souza went 4-for-4 for Hagerstown, collecting half of his team's hits.

Shorebirds defeat Suns (Saturday) SALISBURY, Md. - Cameron Reimers and the Hagerstown Suns were done in on one pitch Saturday, as Doug Gredvig's three-run homer in the fourth inning led Delmarva to a 4-2 victory in South Atlantic League Northern Division action. The Suns (55-63, 21-27 second half) grabbed the lead in the third when Shannon Carter singled, advanced to second on Jaime Goudie's sacrifice bunt, stole third and scored on Shawn Fagan's groundout. But Gredvig's blast off Reimers gave the Shorebirds (62-58, 26-23)
