CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Fort Loudon, Pa., man was sentenced Monday in Franklin County Court to 10 to 20 years in state prison on charges he sexually assaulted two boys. Dennis Ola-Dean Morgan, 39, will not begin serving that sentence until he completes a sentence for parole violations for convictions in Adams County, according to court records. Assistant District Attorney T.R. Williams said Morgan had been convicted of rape and involuntary deviant sexual intercourse in Adams County, but he did not have details of that case.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Berkeley County man was jailed Thursday on three felony counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian and a charge of failing to register as a convicted child abuser less than a month after being sentenced in another case involving a child, according to court records. The man's name is not being released because of his relationship with the victim, a 4-year-old girl. The defendant remained in jail Thursday night on a $160,000 cash-only bond set by Magistrate JoAnn Overington, according to court records.

A 53-year-old Hagerstown man who admitted sexually abusing both his daughter and his son many years ago has been sentenced to 13 years in prison in Washington County Circuit Court. The man pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual child abuse in late September. Each count carried a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. Last Thursday, Washington County Circuit Judge John McDowell imposed the maximum sentence in each case and ordered they be served consecutively. Then McDowell suspended all but 6 1/2 years in each case, making a total of 13 years to be served.

A man charged with 23 criminal counts involving child pornography allegedly told police he tried to delete pictures of him and a boy kissing, but couldn't. Police who searched the hard drive of a computer of the Hagerstown home of William A. Keck allegedly found graphic photos of the boy and video clips of adults engaged in sex with youths who appeared to be children. Compact discs with handwritten labels including the titles "child porn 8 yo girl" and "boys pedo" also allegedly contained child pornography, and one folder with allegedly explicit images was called "userswilliamdocuments nastey," according to a charging document.

Man charged with videotaping nude children By MARC G. AUBER / Staff Writer, Chambersburg FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - A Fayetteville man has been charged with videotaping naked children periodically since February, Pennsylvania authorities said Thursday. The 30-year-old man is charged with one count of indecent assault and six counts each of sexual abuse of children and corruption of minors, Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said. The man has been released on $10,000 bail on the condition that he not communicate with the children, records show.

Hagerstown man charged in accident in which trailer breaks loose HAGERSTOWN -- A Hagerstown man was charged Thursday with not reporting an accident after a trailer he was hauling Wednesday on Interstate 70 broke loose and hit a car, according to Maryland State Police. Ralph Allen Wiles Jr., 36, was charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident in which someone was hurt, not remaining at the scene, not properly reporting a vehicle accident and driving a loaded vehicle that wasn't secured.

Roseann M. Thompson, 36, of 205 S. Main St., Mont Alto, Pa., and formerly of Chambersburg, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to statutory sexual assault, three counts of corruption of minors and two counts of criminal mischief.

A Williamsport man pleaded guilty Monday in Washington County Circuit Court to sexually molesting a 12-year-old girl and was sentenced to eight years in prison. William Burnell Nulph, 39, of 157 N. Conococheague St., pleaded guilty to a second-degree sex offense and was sentenced by Circuit Judge John H. McDowell to 15 years in prison, with seven years suspended. The conviction also requires Nulph to register with the state as a sex offender for the rest of his life, McDowell said.

It is the second time someone has been charged with sex offenses involving the girl this year. Police charged Matthew David Mercer, 22, of 140 E. Franklin St., with second-degree rape, second-degree assault, and fourth-degree and third-degree sex offense.

A 25-year-old convicted sex offender was sentenced to one to five years in prison Monday after he pleaded no contest to one count of third-degree sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in 2009. Tyree A. Eldridge also pleaded no contest to one count of possession with intent to deliver a non-narcotic substance in an unrelated case. After entering the pleas, Eldridge also was sentenced by 23rd Judicial Circuit Judge Gina M. Groh to serve another one- to five-year prison sentence for the drug conviction, but that term behind bars will be completed concurrently with the sexual assault penalty as part of a plea agreement reached between Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney Pamela Games-Neely and defense attorney Matthew Harvey.
