Bobby Cooper completed 24 of 28 passes for 286 yards and four touchdowns to lead Shepherd University to a 42-6 win over Seton Hill at Offutt Field on Saturday. Shepherd (2-1, 1-0 WVIAC) took a 7-0 lead with 10:12 left in the first quarter when Cooper connected with Larry Lowe on a 12-yard touchdown pass. Ryan Earls added the extra point. Shepherd extended its lead to 14-0 when Cooper teamed with Billy Brown on a 76-yard scoring play with 2:42 left in the first quarter. The Rams took a 21-0 advantage when Nick Pugh forced a fumble and Dominic Tolson returned it 42 yards for a score with 12:29 left in the second quarter.

Devlin is a Waynesboro graduate and former standout athlete for the Indians. GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Tommy Addison rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns to lead Shepherd University to a 46-17 win over Seton Hill in WVIAC football action at Offutt Field on Saturday. Shepherd (4-0, 2-0) took a 7-0 lead when Addison scampered 21 yards for a touchdown with 10:37 left in the first quarter. Seton Hill (1-4, 0-2) answered on a 26-yard scoring pass from D.J. Lenehan to Jeorge Valdovinos with 6:46 left in the first quarter, but the extra point was blocked. Seton Hill took a 9-7 lead with 5:18 left in the first quarter on a 38-yard field goal by Steve Padilla.

Ah, fans. You gotta love 'em. Just when you think the novelty of running onto a professional ballfield had worn off, here they come again. This time, it's a guy jumping the wall covered from head to toe in red spandex at a Philadelphia Phillies game. I wore a suit like that once, but it was a paid part as the Fruit Of The Loom apple. And what is it that makes the fans in Philadelphia so eager to get on the field? Don't they remember this is the same place a teenager got tasered a couple months ago for doing the same thing?

MEN'S SOCCER Hawks honored Hagerstown Community College's Tyler McKenrick recently was named to the NJCAA Region XX Division I and Maryland JuCo Conference first teams. He was one of five players from the region nominated for All-America. HCC's Chris Lambert joined McKenrick on the regional first team, and was selected to the conference's second team. McKenrick, Mark Connellly and Harold Little were selected to play in the regional sophomore all-star game Saturday at CCBC-Essex.
