The Maugansville Ruritan Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ruritan building on Maugans Avenue.  The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and sausage gravy with juice, coffee and tea. The cost is $5.50 for adults, $3 for children, ages 6 to 12, and free for children ages 5 and younger. This is the final breakfast of the fall/winter season. The next one will be held in September.  Proceeds help support the many programs the Ruritan Club sponsors.

The community is invited to the Maugansville Ruritan Club's all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday from 6:30 to 11 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, juice, coffee and tea. Tickets cost $5.50 for adults, $3 for those ages 6 to 12 and are free for those 5 and younger. The breakfast will take place at the Ruritan's blue building on Maugans Avenue. Proceeds will benefit the Maugansville community. Geography bee held On Jan. 20, fourth- and fifth-grades at Maugansville Elementary School participated in the school geography bee. All fourth- and fifth-graders were able to view the bee on the school's streaming technology.

Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro, Pa., the second session in a series of four cottage group meetings will be held this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Several groups meet in members homes while one adult group and one youth group meet at the church. The groups will continue their discussion of Marcus Borg's "The Heart of Christianity. " This month's session focuses on two ways of seeing the Bible as sacred text: Biblical literalism and metaphorical understanding.
