Oct. 24 - Nov. 1 The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at seven locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown. A two-day reservation notice is required and a donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275. Weekly menu Wednesday - Baked ham and cheese carbonara, three-bean salad, cooked kale, whole-grain bread, pineapple and milk. Thursday - Beef teriyaki strips, rice with brown gravy, California-blend vegetables, whole-grain bread, banana and milk.

Lunch menus for Monday, May 21, through Friday, May 25, include: Washington County Monday - Chicken nuggets with round roll or grilled cheese pleezers, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and pineapple. Secondary also may choose tomato soup. Tuesday - Steak and cheese sub or burrito with salsa, potato wedges, garden salad, applesauce and cookie. Secondary also may choose chili. Wednesday - Chef salad with cheese wedge or turkey and cheese on bun, vegetable noodle soup with pretzel rod, whipped sherbet and apple.
