The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls: Someone broke out the rear window of a vehicle on West Potomac Street in Williamsport on Thursday. The incident caused $300 worth of damage. Two necklaces valued at $1,500 were stolen from Motel 6 on Massey Boulevard on Friday. Cpl. Roy Harsh said an assault may have occurred along with the theft. A $3,000 computer system was reported stolen from Younger Toyota on Dual Highway.

A Hagerstown man has been charged with breaking a car window during an argument Thursday afternoon in Fulton County, Pa., Pennsylvania State Police said. Terrell Dawon Bass, 23, was charged with criminal mischief, according to a state police news release. Troopers said Bass got into an argument with a 24-year-old woman at about 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Heritage Drive in Todd Township. Officers allege Bass used his arm to break the rear window of the car when the argument escalated.

A family dispute was at the center of an incident on Monday that led to shots being fired at two cars in Williamsport, according to Washington County District court records. James Glenn Barker, 66, of 15715 Fenton Ave., was charged with three counts each of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He was released on personal recognizance but was admitted to Washington County Hospital after he complained of chest pains. Barker was released from the hospital Thursday, a hospital official said.

Mark Knight said: Wednesday: · At 8 a.m., a rear window of a Ford Explorer was reported smashed in the 15400 block of Falling Waters Road. Damage was estimated at $400. · At 10 a.m., $35 was reported stolen from a wallet at Diagnostic Imaging at Robinwood Medical Center. · At 8 p.m., a purse was reported stolen at The Bon-Ton in Valley Mall. Today: · At 12:30 a.m., an alleged breaking and entering was reported in the 11000 block of Lincoln Avenue.

MARLOWE, W.Va. - West Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Interstate 81 in which the driver of a Bell Atlantic utility truck was critically injured. Byron Larson, age and address unknown, was taken to Washington County Hospital following the 1 p.m. crash just north of Exit 23. Trooper Richard Dyroff said the accident occurred when traffic slowed suddenly for a construction delay on the Potomac River bridge. One Bell Atlantic truck, seeing traffic slowing ahead, pulled from the lefthand lane into the median.

Man hurt in W.Va. crash still hospitalized MARTINSBURG, W.Va. ? A Berkeley County man injured in a Dec. 17 car accident remains in critical condition at a Virginia hospital, Berkeley County Sheriff W. Randy Smith said Thursday. Matthew Rush, 20, of 217 Ambler Lane in Falling Waters, W.Va., is in the intensive care unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., Smith said. The gold Chevrolet Cavalier Rush that Rush was driving on Apple Harvest Drive crashed into a utility pole along the road, east of Clyde Borum Road and Tinsman Lane, about 11 p.m. Just before the accident happened, a Berkeley County Sheriff's Department deputy was going to stop the vehicle after concluding it appeared the driver might have been driving while under the influence of alcohol, police have said.

Washington County Sheriff's Office responds to incidents The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight. The calls cover the period from 8 a.m. on April 22 to 8 a.m. on April 26: A burglary was reported Monday in the 17000 block of Fair Oaks Court in Hagerstown. There were screwdriver marks on a door jamb but nothing was missing. Deputies have a suspect. A 2010 Premium trailer and a Bobcat zero turn mower were reported stolen April 25 from Beaver Creek Storage at 19941 Beaver Creek Road in Hagerstown.
