The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County. If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Cats No. 22 - Young adult, gray and brown tabby, found on River Bend Court.

A Pedigree Affair to benefit SPCA A Pedigree Affair, featuring The Fabulous Hubcaps, will be Saturday, Feb. 28, at Ramada Inn, Dual Highway in Hagerstown. The fun begins at 8 p.m.; doors will open at 7:15 p.m. The event will benefit Washington County SPCA's building fund, according to SPCA Executive Director Shelly Moore. Tickets, $15 a person or $25 a couple, originally were available at several businesses. They are selling so well that they now are for sale only at the SPCA at 13011 Maugansville Road in Hagerstown.
