GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A Hagerstown man was injured when the vehicle he was driving struck a tree Sunday night in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Anthony M. Woodward, 23, was taken to Meritus Medical Center east of Hagerstown to be treated for his injuries, according to a state police news release. Meritus Medical Center does not release the conditions of patients to the media. Troopers said Woodward was driving a 1997 Saturn SL2 south on Leitersburg Road shortly before 9 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle and it struck a tree.

A Fayetteville, Pa., woman has been charged with using her vehicle to drag another woman across gravel Sunday morning in Greene Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Keisha Yazmene Tasker, 33, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, according to a state police news release. Troopers allege the incident occurred in the 5500 block of Lincoln Way East shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday when Tasker allegedly put her vehicle in reverse and backed up while another woman was hanging on the door.

A Fulton County, Pa., woman accused of sickening her boyfriend with eyedrops waived her preliminary hearing Monday. Vickie Jo Mills, 33, appeared in court and waived her preliminary hearing, Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott said. A date was not immediately set for mandatory arraignment, Mellott said. Mills, of 18250 Great Cove Road in Ayr Township, Pa., is charged with 10 felony counts of aggravated assault, 10 misdemeanor counts of simple assault and 10 misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.
