Marine Corps Pfc. Jeremy E. Angle , son of Patty N. Lowery of Sharpsburg and Jerry A. Angle of Boonsboro, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and was promoted to his current rank. Angle is a 2003 graduate of Washington County Technical High School in Hagerstown.

Navy Ensign Kimberly A. Dula, daughter of retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Peter Dula and retired Navy Cmdr. Debra Dula of Frederick, Md., graduated from Navy Officer Candidate School and has received a commission as an ensign in the U.S. Navy while assigned at Officer Training Command, Newport, R.I. Dula is a 2004 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland with a bachelor of arts degree.   Marine Corps Pfc. Hannah R. Souder, daughter of Maggie J. Souder of Frederick, Md., and David B. Souder of Damascus, Md., earned the title of U.S. Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Souder is a 2006 graduate of Northwest High School in Germantown, Md.
