City Hospital MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -Dr. Garrison Morin, a board certified otolaryngologist, recently joined the medical staff at City Hospital and is opening a private practice in Martinsburg. Morin recently retired as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force. For the past four years, he has served as chief of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. Prior to that, he served as chief of otolaryngology at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

DEC. 30, 1928-JULY 5, 2009 George Franklin Bryan, 80, of Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, July 5, 2009, at his home. Born Dec. 30, 1928, in Williamsport, Md., he was the son of the late Jacob "Runt" Bryan and Catherine Nave Bryan Mowbray. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Bradley; and stepfather, Homer Mowbray. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Pangborn Corp. He attended Faith Christian Fellowship. He was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles 694. He is survived by one sister, Mary Bradley of Falling Waters, W.Va.

MAY 7, 1921-APRIL 29, 2011 David MacDonald Sanner, 89, of Houston, Texas, and formerly of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, April 29, 2011, at Fallbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Houston. Born May 7, 1921, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Samuel and Kate (Shenton) Sanner. Mr. Sanner was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 9th Infantry in the U.S. Army, where he saw action in Tunisia, Sicily, France and Belgium. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he was employed by the Pangborn Corp.

James Calvin Delauney, 91, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Martinsburg City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va. Born Aug. 28, 1920, in Sharpsburg, Md., he was the son of the late William Orville and Mary Lee Bender Delauney. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Lee Stipp Delauney. He was employed by Pangborn Corp. of Hagerstown, Md., for 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Shepherdstown. He was a member of Mount Nebo Lodge 91, AF&AM, Shepherdstown.

Eugene Rollin Stahl, 67, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center, with his loving wife by his side. Born Feb. 23, 1945, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Rollin F. and Blanche L. (Heiston) Stahl. He attended North Hagerstown High and he also attended Maranatha Brethren Church, in Hagerstown. Eugene had worked for Mack Trucks and Pangborn over the years. He was self employed since 1986 and was recently employed at Central Precision.

Berkley Hoge Conrad, 85, of Hagerstown, Md., died on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, both near at hand and far in spirit. Born Aug. 1, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Walter and Emma Triplett Conrad. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, where he began his training in sheet metal work. He was employed at Pangborn Corp., Tebalow and Shuping Manufacturing.

DEC. 9, 1930-DEC. 8, 2009 MOUNT LENA, Md. - Granville T. Easterday Jr., 78, of Mount Lena, Md., died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at his home, following a long illness. Born on Dec. 9, 1930, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Granville T. and Ruth N. (Toms) Easterday. Mr. Easterday was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Pangborn Corp. after 42 years of service and worked for 34 years as a grain and cattle farmer.

Billy Ellsworth Hose, 82, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center Born May 15, 1929, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Ellwsorth L. and Margaret M. DeBow Hose. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Hose, on April 14, 2005. Billy attended Hagerstown High School from 1946 to 1947. He was a veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps during the Berlin Airlift. He retired in July 1993 from Pangborn Corp.

Gloria Lee Clevenger, 81, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, with her sons by her side at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Born June 16, 1930, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Hillard and Kathryn (McAllister) Staley. She was married to Glenn Clevenger for 39 years, until he preceded her in death Sept. 14, 1990. She also spent many happy years with friend and companion, Raymond Hewitt, until his death in 2009. Gloria was employed at Pangborn Corp.
