Lambert-Meadows Stacy B. Meadows and Juston W. Lambert were married Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Greenwood United Methodist Church in Winchester, Va. The bride is the daughter of Charles and Diane Meadows of Inwood, W.Va. The bridegroom is the son of John and Kimberly Hawbaker of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Neil Lambert of Hagerstown. The bride is a 1998 graduate of Musselman High School and a 1999 graduate of International Beauty School with a degree in cosmetology.

HAGERSTOWN - Since Cole Bellon moved back to his parents' Hagerstown home after becoming partially paralyzed last December in a car accident, he's only been out of the house to go to physical therapy. His mother, Debby Bellon, would love for her 22-year-old son to have the opportunity to get out of the house more - to see his friends, go to the mall and go to Philadelphia for checkups, but that requires a wheelchair-accessible van. To that end, Bellon's brother, Matt, and friends like Chris Boggs have organized ColeFest.

Rohrer is able to assist individuals and companies in reducing the problems associated with musculoskeletal disorders by identifying ergonomic risk factors according to OSHA standards and developing effective industry and/or office-based programs. The effects of the severe brain stem injury from a car accident 13 years ago are noticeable when he talks and walks - he limps. "Some people are really sweet to me. Some people are really arrogant," said Butts, a salesman at Circuit City at the Centre at Hagers-town. Beyond learning how to walk and talk again, Butts has had to learn how to cope with the cruelty he occasionally encounters from people who get a "look in their eyes" when talking with him or think he's retarded or drunk because his speech is muffled.

When it comes to ergonomics, health officials say it's the seemingly innocuous activities - writing, chopping food, washing dishes and watching TV - that have the potential to create health nightmares. "People are more concerned with completing the task, so (for) everyday things like writing, driving or writing a news story, even, people are not thinking about their posture and body position," said David Brandenburg, an ergonomist for the University of California, Los Angeles.
