Hagerstown Community College's Robinwood Players will perform Neil Simon's “Rumors” from Aug. 3 to 5, at Kepler Theater. Performances will be Aug. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m. and an Aug. 5 matinee at 2:30 p.m. General admission costs $10, but HCC students, staff and faculty can attend free of charge. Advance tickets can be purchased through the HCC bookstore by calling 240- 500- 2271. Tickets also will be available at the door prior to the performance. This show is intended for those ages 18 and older.

The Apollo Civic Theatre will host auditions for Neil Simon's comedy, "London Suite" at the theater, 128 E. Martin St., downtown Martinsburg, W.Va. Auditions are 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, and Sunday, Feb. 6, and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7. Call backs will be 8:15 to 9:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7. FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. -- Totem Pole Playhouse 60th anniversary season is now booking groups and new season subscriptions. CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Old Opera House Theatre Company is happy to start "Rumors. " Not rumors, as in gossip, but "Rumors," the Neil Simon farce. "Rumors" will open 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and continues Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sunday, Feb. 17, at Old Opera House. The play is about four couples who meet for a wedding anniversary celebration only to find the host has been shot. The first guests on the scene try to cover it up, but the heap of lies they create gets harder and harder to keep straight.

Trainfest The Hagerstown Model Railroad Museum will host a train show and exhibits regarding railroading and model railroading. Today, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. $3; free for those younger than 12. Winter festival The Hancock Winter Festival will feature ice blocks for ice-carving competitions and a silent auction of special items and gifts donated by area merchants. A hat contest will be sponsored by the Interfaith Service Coalition.
