The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren. Needmore. The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at the church. Wayne A. Younker, 75, of Needmore, Pa., died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his home. Born Aug. 23, 1936 in Hancock, Md., he was the son of the late Edgar and Bessie Younker Shives. He was employed as a truck driver. He was a member of Weslyan Chapel in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Alice I. Mills Younker, whom he married March 5, 1954 in Hagerstown, Md.; one son, Wayne Younker Jr. of Needmore; four daughters, Teresa Whittaker of Clear Spring, Md., Bonnie Unger of Hancock, Sandy Wills of Needmore and Michelle Gunnell of Warfordsburg, Pa.; one brother, Marshall Younker; three sisters, Phyllis Jenson, Virginia Reiff and Laverne Barney; grandchildren, April Hiller, Lance Younker, Desirae Ulsh, Chelsea Unger, Allison Wills and Garett Unger; and great-grandchildren, Lane Younker, Jacob Younker and Lydia, Jillian and Mia Hiller.

Parker Hann, 82, of Harrisonville, Pa., passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at his residence. Parker was born in Harrisonville on June 11, 1929, the son of the late Reuben C. and Della (Schetrompf) Hann. He was the husband of Alice H. (Helsel) Hann, whom he married May 29, 1950. Mr. Hann served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Brownson during the Korean War, was a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, Pa., VFW Post 655 of McConnellsburg, Pa., the Teamsters Union in Harrisburg, Pa., and also was a 32nd degree Mason.
