BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - The Morgan County Commission voted unanimously Friday to request that the Tri-State Community Health Center appoint a Morgan County resident to its board of directors. Commission President Glen R. Stotler said Friday that the commission will send a letter to the health center and will offer recommendations of people to serve on the board. The Tri-State Community Health Center is a federally funded medical clinic that serves residents in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

John Kenny Hess, 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010. The service will be today at 11 a.m. at Victory Tabernacle Church, Morgan County, W.Va. Burial will be in Timber Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Berkeley Springs.

Guy Walter Fox, 73, of Morgan County, W.Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at his home. The service and burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.

John Alfred "John Boy" Poole died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in Martinsburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Morgan County, W.Va.

Thomas Dale “Tom” Keckler, 64, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and formerly of Williamsport, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, in Morgan County, W.Va. A celebration of life will be Saturday at Sharpsburg Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Erskine-Valentine officiating. Arrangements are by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.

Charles Emmerson Bowles, 71, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing Home. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. The service will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Morgan County, W.Va.

Larry Kenneth Kirby, 56, of Charleston, W.Va., died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at his home. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel, Inwood, W.Va. The service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Snyder's Cemetery, Morgan County, W.Va.

Alan Michael Koper, 63, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at City Hospital. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Mooney officiating. Military graveside services will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery in Morgan County.

Floyd E. Munson, 81, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at home while under the care of the Hospice of the Panhandle. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Morgan County, W.Va.

Ward Leo Clark, 91, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. The service will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. A military graveside service will be Wednesday in Spohr's Crossroads Cemetery in Morgan County.
