Charles L. Reeder, 93, of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Dec. 2, 2011, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc. in McConnellsburg. The service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg. 

Marian A. "Skip" Carbaugh, 82, of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Penn Knoll Village, Everett, Pa. Donald Andrew Duncan Jr., 58, of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Cito United Methodist Church in McConnellsburg. The service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Lee "Joe" Culler, 83, of McConnellsburg, Pa., died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg. Wilma L. Bivens, 71 DEC. 17, 1937-MARCH 12, 2009 McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Wilma L. Bivens, 71, of McConnellsburg, died Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Fulton County Medical Center. Born Dec. 17, 1937, in McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of Agnes Walker Snyder of McConnellsburg and the late Harry E. Snyder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Bivens. They were married March 28, 1952. She was employed by Sagner Co. in McConnellsburg, as a seamstress until the factory closed.

GIRLS BASKETBALL McConnellsburg 33, Northern Bedford 27 LOYSBURG, Pa. - Trisha Seiders had nine points and 12 rebounds, and the Spartans held Northern Bedford to 8-for-42 shooting (19 percent). Dabi Paruch had seven points and Emile Ott added six points and four steals for McConnellsburg (2-1).
