COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Boston College brought new meaning to the term "balanced attack" in an uplifting win over Maryland. Jolonn Dunbar scored on a 94-yard fumble return, Ray Henderson took an interception 35 yards for a touchdown, and the No. 23 Eagles overcame four turnovers in a 31-16 victory Saturday. Boston College got two touchdowns apiece from its offense and defense. "Two defensive touchdowns is a really good job," Eagles quarterback Matt Ryan said. "They played awesome.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Don't look now, but University of Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen is tempted to break the law. People on the morality front, take a deep breath and relax. Friedgen isn't about to do anything rash. After all, that would be pretty tough for him to do, considering he has state police officers guarding him on his every move. No, this is more of an unwritten rule. It's the law of averages. For the last two years, breaks have gone against the Terrapins when it comes to key spots in games.
