COLLEGE BASEBALL Three Rams make All-region Three Shepherd University players have been selected to the 2009 Daktronics II Baseball All-Atlantic Region team. Junior third baseman Brian Collins, a Jefferson graduate, and junior reliever Kenny Reisinger were first team selections, while freshman first baseman Nathan Minnich, a Waynesboro graduate, was a second-team choice. Collins is hitting .385 with 16 home runs, 16 doubles and 52 RBIs. Collins is 3-0 on the mound with a 1.93 ERA. Reisinger has a 4-2 record with eight saves and a 1.86 ERA. He has fanned 40 and walked only 13 in 53 1/3 innings.

Monday, April 1, 2013 PREP BASEBALL FREDERICK, Md. - Matt Daley went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and Andrew Yacyk homered as North Hagerstown crushed Wilde Lake 15-1 Monday at the Linganore Tournament. Wilde Lake took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Hubs answered with six runs in the bottom of the inning and cruised the rest of the way. John Britton added two hits for the Hubs, who had 11 hits but also took advantage of seven walks and seven Wilde Lake errors.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012 PREP BASEBALL HANCOCK - Bishop Walsh's Kevin Myers stymied Hancock on Wednesday, striking out 20 while leading the Spartans to a 3-0 victory. Myers also drove in two runs with a triple for Bishop Walsh (4-2) and scored the third run on a throwing error. Hunter McKinley struck out seven for Hancock (3-2).
