JLG Industries Inc. McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - JLG Industries Inc., an Oshkosh Corp. company, has developed an online learning management system to deliver training for JLG customers. In addition to taking online courses, customers can maintain their training history for both online and classroom courses. JLG has four online courses available: basic electric, basic hydraulic, warranty fundamentals (warranty policy) and service bench (warranty system). JLG will further develop its online training to complement its existing instructor-led courses.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - JLG Industries Inc. said Tuesday that it has revised its earnings estimates due to continued uncertainty in the economy and lower levels of nonresidential construction. Results for fiscal 2002 ending July 31 are now expected to be in the range of $.40 to $.45 per diluted share without repositioning and goodwill impairment charges, compared to $.60 to $.65 previously forecasted, the company announced in a prepared statement. Fourth-quarter sales are now expected to be approximately 15 percent lower than the comparable period a year ago, according to the statement.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - JLG Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, recently announced new and improved features on its E300 series boom lift models. Through improved hydraulic efficiencies, the E300 provides more than 20 percent more duty cycles, which means an operator can drive 6.6 miles and complete 175 lift cycles on a single charge, according to a JLG press release. The new 305 amp-hour batteries provide an 18 percent improvement in recharging time and deliver a lower replacement cost for equipment owners, according to the release.
