WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - The Friends of Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church will hold their annual fall service at the historic church near Warfordsburg, in Fulton County, Pa., on Sunday. Guest preacher for the 2 p.m. service will be Pastor Christian Elliott of the Knobsville Church of the Brethren, Knobsville, Pa. The order of service includes a selection of favorite, old-time hymns sung by the Sharon Mennonite Bible Institute Choir and congregational hymns, all to be performed a cappella at Tonoloway, which has never been wired for electricity.

The Manor Church Senior Citizens Club met Oct. 10, in the regular meeting room at Manor Church of the Brethren. Due to the absence of the recording secretary, the sign-in method was used. This showed a total of 32 members present, which matched the head count taken by Ialene Cass. Members who brought goodies for the bake sale arrived early. A covered- dish dinner was served. The business meeting came to order at 1 p.m. with all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Secretary minutes were discussed and approved, as was the treasurer's report, given by treasurer Ruth Shank.
