Here is the Morning Mojo Report for Monday, May 14: * As of 7 a.m., traffic was slow on I-270 southbound and I-495 westbound, but was running fine on all the other interstates throughout the area. * Light Rail train service is suspended between Timonium and Hunt Valley stations and is scheduled to remain so until July so four existing deteriorated grade crossings in the Hunt Valley area can be replaced, according to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) website, mta.maryland.gov.

The Hagerstown City Council unanimously approved Tuesday a $38,000 contract to develop construction plans for the Fairgrounds Park redevelopment project. KCI Technologies Inc., based in Hunt Valley, Md., was awarded the contract. Previously, KCI was awarded a $75,000 contract to complete planning and technical evaluations. Both contracts were put out for competitive bid. Work on the landscaping changes for the park, which will include laying out soccer and softball fields, could begin by May, city engineers said.

She is a client support supervisor at CDR Associates in Hunt Valley, Md. Mr. Miller is the son of James and Marie Miller of Eldersburg, Md. He is a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2007 graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County, with a Bachelors of Arts in economics.

Sharon L. Neese, 61, of Parkville, Md., died Feb. 6, 2012. Born Feb. 16, 1950, in Charleston, S.C., she had been a longtime resident of Parkville. She was the beloved daughter of the late Bynum and Ethel Neese; devoted sister of Susan L. McHugh and her husband, J. Michael McHugh; loving aunt of Jessica and Owen; and dear niece of Max Neese. A memorial service will be held at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road, Towson, MD 21204 (beltway exit 26) Thursday at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.

JULY 27, 1919-MAY 30, 2011 Ellen Elizabeth Crawford, 91, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Baltimore. Born Sunday, July 27, 1919, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George Walter Smith and the late Bessie Freeze Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Crawford Sr., in 1998. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed ceramics, bowling, and her garden and bridge clubs.

JAN. 3, 1917-AUG. 3, 2011 Reba Madeline "Sally" Martin, 94, of Hagerstown, Md., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at the Julia Manor Nursing Center, Hagerstown. Born Jan. 3, 1917, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry Martin and Bertha Irene Chaney. She was the wife of the late Ernest Franklin Martin who died in 1966. Sally graduated from Hagerstown High School and worked in the mailroom of Fairchild Aircraft for many years. She enjoyed bowling and raising her family.

JUNE 29, 1957-NOV. 27, 2009 David Neal Watters, 52, of 13129 Hepplewhite Circle in Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at his home. Born Saturday, June 29, 1957, in McDonald, Pa., he was the son of Samuel H. Watters and Marianne L. Frazee Watters of McDonald. He was a 1975 graduate of South Fayette High School and a 1979 graduate of Waynesburg College with a degree in business administration, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was employed as national sales manager by Rayloc in Atlanta, Ga., and later became general manager for Rayloc in Hancock, Md. Due to his illness, he retired and supported the family-owned business, Beef O' Brady's in Hagerstown.

Born Saturday, July 31, 1937, in Oakland, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Nathan "Nat" Carnig and the late Pearl Levine Carnig. She was employed as a custom drapery salesperson for many years with Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penney and later was employed with the Union Rescue Mission Thrift Shop.
