A reported road-rage incident early Friday morning led to the arrest of a Hedgesville, W.Va., man whose vehicle crashed into the Hedgesville Elementary School playground, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Kenneth P. Yeakley Jr., 46, of Turquoise Drive was later arraigned on single counts of driving under the influence with injury, reckless driving and destruction of property, court records said. Trooper M.C. Morgan of the West Virginia State Police said in a complaint filed against Yeakley that the defendant's vehicle, a Ford F-150 truck, was found resting against a wrecked swing set in the school's playground after he responded to investigate the incident about 4:30 a.m. A guardrail and a fire hydrant were broken, and a fence was also damaged, Morgan said in the complaint.
