Hagerstown Suns Children of service members overseas are eligible to apply for a Hagerstown Suns scholarship. Students who apply for the one-time award must be members of their high school's junior or senior classes in the 2006-07 school year. Applicants must submit transcripts of grades, SAT or ACT scores, three letters of recommendation and essays on why they are deserving of the award. The materials are due by May 15. The Hagerstown Suns is hosting its annual national anthem auditions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Valley Mall, Valley Mall Road, Halfway. All performances must be a capella and only traditional renditions will be considered for selection. SALISBURY, Md. - Delmarva scored a run in each of the first four innings, and starter Jeffrey Moore threw six scoreless innings as the Shorebirds defeated the Hagerstown Suns 5-1 Friday. The Suns' only run came in the seventh, as Jhonatan Solano walked and Michael Martinez doubled him in.

EASTLAKE, Ohio - Leonard Davis singled to bring home Jhonathan Solano in the seventh inning Thursday to give the Hagerstown Suns a 3-2 win over Lake County. Solano reached on a two-out double off Captains reliever Austin Creps. Justin Maxwell and Chris Marrero each homered in the fourth for the Suns' first two runs.
