-MAY 24, 2009 Osborne Lee (Ozzie) Thompson of Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Washington County Hospital. Born in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Wilbur O. and Ruth Head Thompson. He was a 1947 graduate of Hagerstown High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in Europe. He retired from Pangborn Corp. and the State of Maryland. He most recently was employed by Turner Transportation. He was a member of First Christian Church in Hagerstown.

Virginia "Ginny" Coyler, 84, of Woodburn, Ore., died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. Ginny was born to Boyd and Vallie (Steed) Snapp. She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1948. In May 1960, she married John Monrow Coyler in Virginia (he died in 1999); they later moved to the Woodburn area. Mrs. Coyler was very involved in her community. Although she was mostly a homemaker, she enjoyed doing volunteer work. She was a volunteer tutor for Chemeketa School, the city of Woodburn Dial-A-Ride program, Meals on Wheels, Red Cross and Salem Hospital.

JAN. 11, 1914-OCT. 3, 2009 WILLIAMSPORT - Mary E. Schnebly, 95, of 16505 Virginia Ave., Williamsport, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Homewood at Williamsport. Born Jan. 11, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Strobel Schnebly and Carrie Edith Curfman Schnebly. She was employed by Dr. Richard V. Hauver and the Hagerstown Surgical Clinic. She was a 1932 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Mollie Sue Davis, 76, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away Friday, April 19, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md. Born May 1, 1936, in Funkstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Alton and Joyce Virginia Spitzer Knauff. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Davis was a 1954 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, singing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Melvin Davis, whom she married Sept.

MARCH 5, 1941-NOV. 22, 2009 Charles William Price Jr., 68, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at his residence. Born March 5, 1941, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Alice R. (Hatfield) Price. A 1959 graduate of Hagerstown High School, Charles went on to work at Victor Cullen School for the State of Maryland, Fairchild Aircraft and retired from the Creekside Inn in 2003. He was also an avid sports fan and sportsman. Charles is survived by four sons, Jeffrey Lynn Price of St. Cloud, Fla., David L. Price of Hagerstown, Michael T. Price of Waynesboro and William C. Price of Hagerstown; a sister, Phyern L. Higman of Maugansville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nieces; one great-niece; and former wife, Maryann Smith.

Betty Lou Lynn, 87, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Williamsport Nursing Home, Williamsport, Md. Born May 13, 1926, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Elizabeth Everly Pompell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Eugene Munson Sr., in 1996; and her second husband, Luther Martin Lynn, in 2000. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.

Born Jan. 29, 1933, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Frank Johnathan and Sarah Katheryn Trovinger Schlotterbeck. She graduated in 1951 from Hagerstown High School. She was previously employed by Avalon Manor Nursing Home, Reed Industries and for 13 years by Hagerstown Shoe Co. She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church. She was a member of V.F.W.

Born Sept. 12, 1917, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Cecil B. and Flossie (Ambrose) Ridenour. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Earl W. Eissner, on Oct. 28, 2009. She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She retired from H.L. Mills Inc. after 24 years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Ladies of the Elks Lodge 378. She was past president of Hagerstown Business and Professional Women's Club.

OCT. 15, 1931-MARCH 19, 2009 Nancy Lee Snyder, 77, of 1021 Beechwood Drive in Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Washington County Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed. Born Oct. 15, 1931, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Laurella V. Biser Willingham. She graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1949. She had been employed as a secretary by Wright Gardner and also was a homemaker.

DEC. 13, 1931-APRIL 13, 2009 Raymond Milton Palmer, 77, of 17000 Hillsdale Court, Hagerstown, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Washington County Hospital. Born Dec. 13, 1931, in Smithsburg, he was the son of the late Harry Sylvester and Dorothy Loretta Bowman Wilt. He was a 1949 graduate of Hagerstown High School. He served in the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army before joining the U.S. Air Force and serving in Vietnam. He was a Seventh-day Adventist.
