Anna E. Teeter Brindle, 98, a resident of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, Pa., and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the nursing home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The service will be at noon Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lois E. (Koppelman) Toms, 88, of 220 W. King St. in Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at 11:50 a.m. at her home. Born June 26, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Louis H. and Bernadean (Nagle) Koppelman. She spent her early life in St. Louis, moving to Waynesboro in 1964. Mrs. Toms was a 1941 graduate of Beaumont High School in St. Louis. She later attended Park College in Parkville, Mo., for two years. She and her husband, the late Mr. Paul E. Toms, were married Jan. 21, 1967, in Waynesboro.

Mary Ann Grumbine, formerly of Baltimore, Md., passed away March 3, 2012, after a brief illness. Mary was the daughter of the late Dr. Francis L. Grumbine and Jane Kercheval Grumbine. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Francis C. Grumbine of Baltimore; and two sisters, Patricia Young and Deborah Ristine, both of East Berlin, Pa. She was a beloved aunt to one nephew, four nieces and one great-nephew. Mary Ann attended the Maryland School for the Blind until the age of 18. She has been a resident of Star Community in Hagerstown, Md., for the past 18 years, participating in their “Ventures” programs.
