George W. “Bill” Fries, 90, of Fort Loudon, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa. Arrangements are by Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, Pa.

Nellie Blanche Byers, 85, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at Berkeley Springs Rehab & Nursing. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Pa., with the Rev. A. Robert Cook officiating. Arrangements are by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs.

Susan Kay Nehring, 64, of Tavares, Fla., and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Saturday, Jan. 22. Mrs. Carol (Wagaman) Zody, 60, of 4560 Buchanan Trail East, Waynesboro, Pa., died at 4:10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in her home, following a courageous five-year battle with cancer.  Born July 5, 1952, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Elvin and Margaret (Peiffer) Wagaman of Waynesboro. She lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area.  Mrs. Zody was a member of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School class of 1970.  She and her husband of over 16 years, Donald Zody, were married Dec. 12, 1996 in Winchester, Va.  Mrs. Zody worked for Teledyne Landis Machine Co., and the Elks Club, both of Waynesboro.

Ronald E. "Ron" Justus, 65, of 5736 Bino Road in Greencastle, Pa., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, State Line, Pa. The service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church.
