May 27 to 29 The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at seven locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown. A two-day reservation notice is required and a donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275. Weekly menus Wednesday - Oven-baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, applesauce, bread and milk. Thursday - Lasagna with meat sauce, garden salad, Texas toast, banana and milk.

Washington County All meals include a choice of milk and two selections of fruits and vegetables. An assortment of fresh, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables will be offered in all schools every day. o Monday - Shrimp poppers with macaroni and cheese or pizza burger. o Tuesday - Taco salad with salsa or bean and cheese chalupa. o Wednesday - Spicy or breaded chicken patty or cheese quesadilla with salsa. o Thursday - Beef hot dog or turkey and cheese sandwich.

The Adult Choir of Washington Square United Methodist Church will hold its annual pork and sauerkraut family dinner Saturday, May 2, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church at 538 Washington Ave. in Hagerstown. The all-you-can-eat dinner includes mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, applesauce, rolls, drinks and dessert. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $4 for those ages 6 to 10, and $2 for those ages 3 to 5. Those 2 and younger will be admitted free. Advance tickets and reservations are available from choir members or by contacting the church at 301-739-2653 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Money raised at the 46th annual "Chicken 'n' Stuff Dinner" will benefit the Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center. The Rotary Club of Chambersburg, Knights of Columbus and George Washington Masonic Lodge No. 143 will host the dinner on Monday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. in the Chambersburg Area Middle School cafeteria. The Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Program is a volunteer-supported horse riding program for the disabled.

Pork and sauerkraut St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Clear Spring will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu will include pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, applesauce, drink and dessert. Dinner will be served family style with carryout available. Homemade pies, cakes and candy will be available for purchase. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for those ages 5 to 12 years. Those 4 and younger will be admitted free. Spaghetti dinner There will be an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner at the Big Pool Community Building Saturday, March 21, from 4 p.m. until sold out. The menu includes spaghetti, coleslaw, cake and drink.
