Feb. 14 - Feb. 20 The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone 60 years and older at seven locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown. A two-day reservation notice is required and a donation is asked per meal. For information, call 301-790-0275. Weekly menu Wednesday - Cupid nuggets, sweetheart mashed potatoes with gravy, cooked buttered beets, strawberry frozen fruit bar, yellow cake with red decoration, whole-grain bread and milk.

School lunch menus for the week of Jan. 21 to 25: Washington County Monday - No school Tuesday - No school Wednesday - Tony's pepperoni or cheese pizza or steak and cheese sub, golden corn, Italian ice and pineapple chunks. Secondary also may choose tomato soup. Thursday - Chicken tenders or meatball sub, rice with gravy, California blend vegetables and fresh fruit. Secondary also may choose noodle soup. Friday - Mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara or crunchy fish sandwich, green beans, applesauce and fishy snack.

Thursday - Lasagna, garden salad with chick peas, kiwi smiles, whole-wheat dinner roll, spring cup cake and milk.
