For many of its 35 years, the Chevrolet Camaro practically ruled the streets and race tracks across America. Victory, cheers and tire-shredding V-8 power have been replaced by silence. The Camaro is gone. But why, when the last-generation (1993-2002) cars were considered by many to be the best Camaros ever made, did this happen? If you want to know how to change an engine and a set of wheels, ask a mechanic. If you want to know how to cram a lifetime of experience designing and hammering out some of the most incredible custom cars in the world between four tires and two bumpers of a clapped-out Mustang, ask Troy Trepanier. It's a question that came from Internet auction giant Ebay Motors when it wanted to show what could be built with the parts and pieces - and an entire car, actually - bought through its popular online service.

For movie-loving car nuts, the names Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage and Robert Duvall pale in comparision to the real star of the movie Gone in 60 seconds. Eleanor. She had no dialog, but made the most noise. She was Cage's bittersweet ally and probably had more on-screen presence than the rest of the cast put together. She, of course, was a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, code-named Eleanor, the 50th and final vehicle that Cage, who played retired-car-thief-brought-back-into-action Randall "Memphis" Raines, had to steal and deliver to a ruthless crime boss.
