Mary Carlton "Polly" Coleman Hume, 97, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Westminster Canterbury in Winchester, W.Va. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Martinsburg, W.Va. Private interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Norma Osbourn of Sun City, Fla., and formerly of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011. Graveside services will be Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Henry "Marty" Martin Boyer, 61, of Inwood, W.Va., died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at his home. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Sarah Elizabeth Link, 72, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Thursday, April, 28, 2011, at Heartland of Martinsburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Lyla Neff Bell, 72, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Street United Methodist Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Helen Price Foutz, 96, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died  Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown with the Rev. Parker Hinzman officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Jane Barkley Sutherland, 57, of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at her home. Private burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Tremba officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.

Nancy Elizabeth “Betty” Crane, 90, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, in Winchester, Va. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va. The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Shepherdstown. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Edward Baldwin Rogers, 88, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at City Hospital. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, W.Va. The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Revs. William F. Lee and William Crowe officiating. Military graveside services will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Doris M. Blackford, 82, of Charles Town, W.Va., died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Janice Louise Sigler, 71, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at City Hospital. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday at Brown Funeral Home. The service will be at 1 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Devin Ward officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, W.Va.  

Virginia Louise Gano Long, 81, of Martinsburg, W.Va., formerly a longtime resident of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 6 p.m. by the Order of Eastern Star. The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Al Clipp officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Audrey Rebecca Sloat Egle, 95, of Shepherdstown, W.Va., died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, Pa. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown. The Rev. G.T. Schramm will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown. Arrangements are by Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town, W.Va.
