A Fecal Egg Counting Workshop will be Saturday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Western Maryland Research and Education Center near Keedysville. The workshop will teach the modified McMaster technique for determining fecal egg counts in small ruminants, according to a press release. It will also teach the proper use of fecal egg counts in internal parasite control programs for sheep and goats. Dr. Dahlia Jackson, the new small ruminant specialist at Delaware State University is to be the primary instructor.
