St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preach Sunday at the 8 a.m. communion service. The children and youth choirs will present a musical program at the 10:15 a.m. service that includes communion. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. The adult forum will be taught by Yancy. A Tuesday Lenten dinner will be at 6 p.m. followed by the Stations of the Cross at 7:30 p.m. St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Sunday at the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. communion services, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preach on the topic, Now I See. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m. Lenten midweek services Wednesday at 7 p.m. will feature Pastor Darrell Layman speaking on The Shadow of Servant Leadership.

St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preach at the 8 a.m. communion service this Sunday. At the 10:15 a.m. service, a Festival of Advent Lessons and Carols will be presented by the parish and youth choirs. Communion will also be celebrated. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. including an adult forum led by Yancy. St. Mark's Lutheran Church, this Sunday there will be chapel communion at 8:15 a.m., Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and the Sunday school Christmas program at 10:30 a.m. The sermon is Emmanuel, God With Us. There will be communion for shut-ins at 2 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Philip Fogarty will preach at the 8 and 11 a.m. services this Sunday on the topic, The Unexpected One. Pastor Torben Aarsand will be celebrant.
