OCT. 3, 1934-MAY 24, 2011 Ruth Constance Martin, 76, of Dargan, Md., passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md. Born Oct. 3, 1934, in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter Woodrow Longerbeam and Blanche May Hardy Longerbeam. She was a member of New Life Fellowship at Dargan. She is survived by three sons, Shannon W. Longerbeam of Charles Town, W.Va., Oakley Martin and Wayne Martin and wife, Scindy, all of Dargan; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Margaret Grimm, 89, of Dargan, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Samples Manor Cemetery, Samples Manor. Arrangements are by Eackles-Spencer and Norton Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

Gerald Wilbur Ingram, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown. Born, July 1, 1945, in Dargan, Md., he was the son of the late Arnold James and Lillie May (Jamison) Ingram. Mr. Ingram retired from the Department of Energy in Gaithersburg, where he worked in the custodial-maintenance department. He was Protestant by faith and was a lifetime member of The Improved Order of Red Men, Conococheague Tribe 84, Williamsport.

MARCH 2, 1958-APRIL 6, 2010 HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Timothy W. Giffin, 52, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Born March 2, 1958, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Roland W. and Eileen L. (Ingram) Giffin. Tim was a federal employee, working on the C&O Canal for the U.S. National Park Service. He was a 1976 graduate of Boonsboro High School and also graduated from Hagerstown Business College. Tim was a member of Samples Manor Church of God near Dargan and attended Welty Church of the Brethren in Smithsburg.
