Police arrested three men, including two from Hagerstown, after a drug deal Thursday with a confidential informant at the Spring Mills McDonald's restaurant. Larry G. Harris, 26, of 1401 Haven Road, Apt. F22, and Nino J. Smith, 21, of 310 Jonathan St., both of Hagerstown, and Johon A. Harrell, 21, of Dumfries, Va., were each arraigned Friday on single counts of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, distribution of crack cocaine and conspiracy, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records.

Five people were arrested and about an ounce of crack cocaine was seized after police conducted a search Saturday at 118 Centre St., according to the Martinsburg Police Department. More than $1,300 in cash also was seized when members of the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, city police and West Virginia State Police searched the home off East Burke Street, according to a news release from Sgt. J.E. Darby. According to Darby, those arrested were Shasta C. Myers, 21, of 35 Perry Drive, Falling Waters, W.Va.; Luis M. Delgado, 21, of 3551 East Tremont, Bronx, N.Y.; Eric Junior Donaldson, 19, of 35 Perry Drive, Falling Waters; Bobby T. Hoyt, 40, of 118 Centre St.; and Eusebio D. Booth, 33, of 118 Centre St. All five were charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine/conspiracy.

A Hagerstown man with three previous felony drug convictions was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a fourth conviction last week in Washington County Circuit Court. Judge Dana Moylan Wright told Shamar Tahi Anderson on Thursday that he will not be eligible for parole until he has served the first 10 years of his sentence for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Anderson, 33, of 241 S. Prospect St., was scheduled for a jury trial Thursday, but entered into a plea agreement after a bench conference.

Two people were in the Washington County Detention Center Friday after being taken into custody on drug-trafficking charges involving crack cocaine and heroin a day earlier, according to Washington County District Court records. Adrien Odell Love, 23, with a listed address on Bear Creek Drive, Hagerstown, was charged with a dozen counts, including two counts each possession of narcotics with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute narcotics, as well as attempting to distribute a large amount of narcotics, possession of a large amount of narcotics and four counts of possession of narcotics.

Police in Martinburg arrested 11 people Wednesday as a result of multiple drug investigations that targeted people who traffic narcotics, the Martinsburg Police Department announced. Police said in a news release Wednesday afternoon that the following people were arrested; Danny Lamony Redman, 34, no fixed address, was charged with two counts of delivery of crack cocaine. Douglas William White, 22,  of 700 W. Burke St., Apt. 35, Martinsburg, was charged with delivery of marijuana.

Fulton Co. man charged with simple assault McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - A McConnellsburg, Pa., man has been charged with assaulting a woman Tuesday at a home in Ayr Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Justin Allen Garlock, 22, was charged with simple assault, according to a state police news release. Troopers alleged that Garlock struck a 29-year-old woman when an argument turned physical at a house at 1489 Cito Road in McConnellsburg.

Martinsburg police officers executed search warrants at four properties Thursday and obtained warrants charging six people with drug-related offenses, according to a news release from Martinsburg Police Detective Cpl. S.F. Doyle. Police searched Apt. 27 of Franklin Manor Apartments at 700 W. Burke St., 201 Cloud St., 615 N. Queen St. and 208 N. Church St., police said. Police found marijuana and paraphernalia at the Burke Street residence, and Ian Jordan Lightner, 25, was charged with delivery of marijuana, police said.  Krista Anne Kyker, 36, was charged with delivery of Suboxone after police found the medication at the Cloud Street residence, police said.

Five people, including four from the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, were sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Martinsburg by Judge Gina M. Groh, according to U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II. • Vonzell Wade Carey , 33, of Kearneysville, W.Va., was sentenced to 15 years and six months in prison to be followed by six years of supervised release. Carey entered a guilty plea May 3 to distribution of crack cocaine in connection with an incident in Martinsburg. • William Ronald Monroe , 32, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced to 7 1/2 years in prison followed by six years of supervised release.
