A 29-year-old man accused of sexually abusing several children between the ages of 3 and 12 last summer was arraigned Wednesday on six felony counts of sexual abuse, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Donald Freedman Graham of Martinsburg, who was arraigned by Magistrate Harry L. Snow, was being held in Eastern Regional Jail Wednesday night on a $90,000 bond, according to court and jail records. West Virginia State Police Trooper W.R. Garrett was notified in November of the allegations involving three children by West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources officials, according to court documents.

The seven members of the Washington County Board of Education are elected to four-year terms. School Board business meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Central Office auditorium at 820 Commonwealth Ave. in Hagerstown. The public is invited to the meetings that are tentatively scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month and 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings typically last two to three hours. The meetings are televised on Antietam Cable Channel 99 and can be viewed online as live streaming video when meetings are scheduled.

Demolition of all but one large building on a former industrial property on Pangborn Boulevard was completed in 2012, but large piles of rubble remain on the land adjacent to Pangborn Park. Several piles are in the open on the largely vacant tract at 580 Pangborn Blvd., and another clump of debris is piled up along a retaining wall that separates the property from a nearby apartment building on Lynnehaven Drive. Kathleen A. Maher, manager of the city's Planning and Code Administration Division, said in a recent email that the demolition began in 2011 and wrapped up in late 2012.
