Thursday - Barbecued chicken pieces, mexicali corn, peas, whole grain bread, tangerine, gingerbread with orange glaze, and milk. Friday - Chili con carne, rice, tossed salad, corn muffin, pears, and milk.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Two Top Ruritan will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the club at 12270 Two Top Road in Mercersburg. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, cole slaw, rolls and dessert. Iced tea and punch will be available. The supper will be buffet-style or carryout. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $3.50 for those ages 6 to 12. Those younger than 6 eat free. The club is five miles south of Mercersburg on Two Top Road.

Blair's Valley First Church of God, a chicken barbecue at Clopper's Grove is today at 4 p.m. Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., Hagerstown, the United Methodist Women are hosting a rummage sale today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and baked goods will be sold. Grace United Methodist Church, 712 Church St., a pot pie dinner fundraiser is today from 4 to 7 p.m. Ham, chicken or beef pot pie, peas, cole slaw, applesauce and a drink. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 11 years of age. Desserts will be sold.

Soup's on at fund-raiser for free clinic By KIMBERLY YAKOWSKI / Staff Writer Carol Mendelsohn and Janet Shaool know what it takes to feed a hungry crowd. continued As organizers of the sixth annual Potter's Bowl fund-raiser for the Community Free Clinic, the women solicited potters for 150 handmade bowls and area cooks for homemade soups to feed the more than 200 people who attended the popular event Sunday. Attendees paid $25 and received a bowl to keep and all the soup they could eat at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, said Mendelsohn.
