David Paul McKee, 56, of Clear Spring, Md., passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center, near Hagerstown. Born Sept. 19, 1956, in Hagerstown, Md., he is the son of Bernice G. Kitchen McKee and the late David T. McKee. David attended Williamsport High School and was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider and horseback rider, and loved playing drums. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his fiancée, Susan Pander of Clear Spring; a daughter, Amy Clipp of Williamsport; a sister, Davene M. Wolfe and husband, Robert, of Harrisonburg, Va.; a grandson, Sheehan Clipp; a granddaughter, Serenity Clipp; best friends, Steve and Barbara Arnsparger; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Juanita Belle Shirk, 94, of Clear Spring went to be with her Lord on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013. Born July 12, 1919, in Slanesville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Melvin Earl Powers and Minnie Myrtle Alkire Powers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, the Rev. Jay Max Shirk, in 1994. Juanita was a member of St. Clements Episcopal Church in Indian Springs and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Clear Spring for 42 years, where she served as president of the altar guild In previous years, she was employed by Celanese in Cumberland, Md., Dorbees in Hagerstown, Md., and London Fog Manufacturing in Hancock, Md. She retired from the Washington County tax credit application department in 1973.

Nathan Calvin Bridendolph Sr., 59, of Williamsport, Md., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. Born Nov. 28, 1953, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Ethel Mae Bridendolph McCarty of Clear Spring, Md. He retired from First Energy Corp. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ronald McCarty. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bridendolph; two sons, Nathan Bridendolph Jr. and wife, Gretchen, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Adam Bridendolph and Stephanie Pulver of Hagerstown; two sisters, Cathy Beach of Falling Waters and Mary Chaney of Clear Spring; two brothers, Kevin Zittle of Anacoco, La. and Shane McCarty of State Line, Pa.; and was expecting two grandchildren.
