St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will deliver the sermon at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The parish choir will present special music at the later service. Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m. Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will lead the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Scheming Demons. There will be a music ministry appreciation on the theme, Let's Give Him the Glory, this Sunday at 4 p.m. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, today there will be blessing of the animals in the church parking lot at 11 a.m. The Rev. Mark Mooney will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Again I Say Rejoice.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, Pastor Rachel Black will lead the 10 a.m. service Sunday on Trinity. Stan Barkdoll will be worship leader. Graduates will be recognized. Benevola United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, Pastor John Dean will preach at 9 a.m. Sunday service on Dealing with Fear. Graduates will be honored, and Sunday school students will be promoted. The chancel choir will sing. Sunday school at 10:15 a.m. Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Pastor Len Smith will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday.
