St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will deliver the sermon at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The parish choir will present special music at the later service. Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m. Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will lead the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Scheming Demons. There will be a music ministry appreciation on the theme, Let's Give Him the Glory, this Sunday at 4 p.m. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, today there will be blessing of the animals in the church parking lot at 11 a.m. The Rev. Mark Mooney will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Again I Say Rejoice.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, Pastor Rachel Black will give the sermon at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. The topic will be God's Hopeful Message. Jean Minnick will give the children's story and Debbie Keefer will be worship leader. Time of sharing by the Disaster Response Project volunteers who recently returned from Prattsville, N.Y. Sunday school at 9 a.m. Benevola United Methodist Church, Boonsboro, Pastor John Dean will preach on Clouds at the 9 a.m. service Sunday. John Holdway will sing.
