St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will deliver the sermon at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion/litany of healing services this Sunday. The children's and youth choirs will present special music at the later service, with percussion, and accompanied by Brayden Lodter on piano. Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m. The parish nurse will be taking blood pressure readings after both services. St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday on the topic, Soldiers of Christ: Arise!

Holy week services will appear in the Tuesday edition of The Herald-Mail. The deadline to submit information is noon Monday. Easter services will appear in the Saturday, April 7, edition. Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren , Pastor Rachel Black will preach on Through the Eyes of a Child at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Karen Myers will be the worship leader, and Kasie Stotler will share the children's message. Erin Gaines will provide special music. Sunday school for all ages at 9 a.m. A carry-in meal and Easter egg hunt follow worship.
