St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney's topic Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. communion service is Words of Comfort.

St. John's Episcopal Church, The Rev. Scott Bellows will preach this Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. services. The parish choir will provide music at the later service. Christian education classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. including an adult forum on What Did St. Paul Mean? Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will be speaking at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on Celebrating Cultural Diversity, sponsored by the Shepherdstown Ministerial Association.
