The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harpers Ferry.

OCT. 19, 1933-AUG. 1, 2007 MOUNT AIRY, Md. - Deloris L. Halterman Patterson, 73, of Pleasant View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of 204 W. Second St., Waynesboro, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at the nursing home. Born Oct. 19, 1933 in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late Albert G. Halterman and Della P. See Byers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. "Jim" Patterson, in 2002. They were married June 28, 1954. She received her G.E.D.

Terri Renee Deneen-Dixon, 44, of Brunswick, Md., died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at her residence. Visitation will be at John T. Williams Funeral Home in Brunswick, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Frederick, Md., with Bishop David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Springs Cemetery in Frederick.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church, with Bishop Gordon Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, W.Va. JUNE 28, 1928-JUNE 8, 2009 WARFORDSBURG, Pa. -- Elmer L. Hill, 80, of Old 126, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, Md. Born June 28, 1928, in Whips Cove, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry Franklin and Blanche Smith Hill, and the husband of the late Norma R. Schriever Hill, who died Dec. 27, 1996. He served in the Merchant Marines during the Korean War. He retired from Londontown Manufacturing, formerly in Hancock, Md. He was a member of the Merchant Marines Association.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Ruth Olive Barnhart, 89, of Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit and formerly of Needmore, Pa., died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit. Born Jan. 16, 1914, in Needmore, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Sadie Y. Truax Mellott. She was preceded in death by her husband, John McClellen Barnhart, in 1967. They were married Jan. 27, 1935. She was a Stanley Home Products representative for 27 years and a homemaker.

HANCOCK - Charles Roger Burnett, 81, of Heavenly Acres Road, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at his home. Born Jan. 25, 1922, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Charles Harry and Lillie Elizabeth Ganoe Burnett. He was a graduate of Hancock High School. For 56 years, he was the owner and operator of the Park-n-Dine Restaurant in Hancock. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hancock Ward.

SEPT. 17, 1926-MAY 16, 2010 Melvin H. Robinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence of Menno Haven, Chambersburg, Pa., Sunday, May 16, 2010, among family members who loved him. Melvin, the oldest son of the late Carl E. and Ora Mary (College) Robinson, was born at home Sept. 17, 1926, in Greencastle, Pa. He graduated from Greencastle High School in 1944. He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot before being drafted into the U.S. Air Force.
