Lebanon Valley College's Inquiry 2013 coincided with the Council for Undergraduate Research's celebration of student research and achievement from April 14 to 20. Jared A. Hamilton of Shippensburg, Pa., was among the 185 student participants. Hamilton, a senior business administration major, presented “Comparing a German and an American SUV - The case of the 2012 Jeep Wrangler and 2012 Mercedes G550.” Hamilton is a graduate of Shippensburg Area High School. Andrew D. Suprock of Mount Airy, Md., also participated.

When you are 99 years young, you celebrate every day and the members of Ebenezer AME Church wanted to show (Aunt) Grace Snively how much they appreciate her and her dedication as a member of Ebenezer for 69 years. The congregations helped her celebrate her 99th birthday Sunday, July 29, after the 11 a.m. morning worship. She shared her moment with the Rev. Leroy Jackson, who also celebrated his birthday. Friends, co-stars mourn Jerry Orbach NEW YORK (AP) - Jerry Orbach was mourned with music and meditations Friday during a funeral where he was remembered as the quintessential New Yorker on the long-running police drama "Law and Order. " "He always knew his lines - and yours, too," said choked-up co-star Sam Waterston, who joined 300 people for the hourlong service at Riverside Memorial Chapel on Manhattan's West Side. Orbach, a Broadway song-and-dance man who achieved his widest fame as Detective Lennie Briscoe on TV's "Law & Order," died of prostate cancer Tuesday night at age 69. Show business figures including Chris Noth, Olympia Dukakis, Danny Aiello, Tony Roberts, Michael Imperioli, Brian Dennehy, Benjamin Bratt and Malachy McCourt attended the secular service, where Orbach lay in a simple wooden coffin draped with white blossoms under the chapel's vaulted, blue-and-gold ceiling.
