CHAMBERSBURG, PA. -- Franklin County rounded out a Tri-State-area trio of home shows this weekend with what organizers called a record turnout. The 26th annual Franklin County Builders Show in Chambersburg always has been a popular event, said Larry Eberly, co-chairman of the show. Eberly estimated about 15,000 people would spent the weekend browsing the products and services of around 250 vendors at the show. Similar shows in Martinsburg, W.Va., two weeks ago and Hagerstown last week drew as many as 40,000 people and 230 vendors.
