BOONSBORO - Often barefoot, with suspenders anchored to their pants, the Mennonite comedy team of Ted & Lee TheaterWorks presented its unique brand of New Testament humor Sunday at Boonsboro High School. "Wow, you know what I think? I think you should cut your right hand off," actor Lee Eshleman, who was playing the role of disciple Andrew, told his partner Ted Swartz as Swartz' Peter plucked out a tone-deaf song on the guitar based on the "Sermon on the Mount. " "It's causing you to sin," Eshleman quipped.

Tuesday's program will be about Massey H. Roe Youth Foundation scholarships. All members should be present, if  possible, to greet and honor these recipients from area high schools. Vacation Bible school to start June 24 Operation Overboard vacation Bible school will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., from 6 to 8:30 p.m. from June 24 to 28. There will be classes for those ages 4 to adult. Activities include Bible stories, games, crafts and music.

Certified physical education and health teacher Stephen Weatherholt is the director and, along with two helpers, provides a fun-filled day of games, sports and learning experiences. Children swim three afternoons a week and are encouraged to join the Summer Reading Club at Hancock Library.
