Retired Washington County Circuit Court Judge W. Kennedy Boone III is in a hospital after an accident in Bermuda, his wife, Debby Boone, said Sunday. Debby Boone did not want to provide further information, requesting privacy for her husband. Judge Boone had continued to serve on the bench after his retirement earlier this year. Since Judge Dana Moylan Wright was sworn in in August, filling the vacancy created by Boone's retirement, Boone is “not currently in the rotation” for cases, Administrative Judge M. Kenneth Long Jr. said Sunday.
