One of two men charged in the violent robbery and beating of a 76-year-old man in his Martinsburg-area home in November 2011 also is accused of pawning a television and other items belonging to his girlfriend's family, according to court documents. Tyler Shane Munson, 20, of Bunker Hill, W.Va., was arraigned Monday by Berkeley County Magistrate Harry L. Snow on one felony count of grand larceny, the court documents said. The father of Munson's girlfriend told police that multiple items worth more than $2,000 were taken on Nov. 23 from his Specks Run Road residence, the documents said.

Two Hagerstown men accused of shooting a Frederick, Md., man at Club Twisted in Berkeley County last month were arraigned on charges of malicious wounding Friday, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Leon William Racks, 29, and Joseph Wayne Mason, 27, who were incarcerated at Eastern Regional Jail Friday night, both applied for a court-appointed attorney when they were arraigned by Magistrate Sandra L. Miller, the court records said. Miller set a $20,000 cash-only bond for each of the defendants, who are accused of shooting Kevin R. Mullen, 28, in the parking lot of the club at 5268 Williamsport Pike on Nov. 26, the records said.

A Martinsburg man is accused of sexually abusing a woman after she delivered four pizzas to his home, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Jason Andrew Welsh, 27, of 180 Longbranch Drive, was arraigned Wednesday on one count of first-degree sexual abuse by Berkeley County Magistrate Sandra L. Miller, according to court documents. Welsh was released from custody after bond was posted for a $50,000 bail, the documents said. The pizza from Papa John's at 728 Foxcroft Ave. in Martinsburg was delivered around the lunch hour Monday by a woman, who told police that the defendant attempted to kiss her on her mouth and was lifting her shirt and grabbing at her body before she managed to get away from him, the records said.

The trial for two men charged in the death of Vickie E. Clem is scheduled for May 1.   Joshua L. Stitley, 33, of Hancock and Roy L. Wisotzkey, 34, of Hagerstown, were arraigned this week by 23rd Judicial Circuit Judge Christopher C. Wilkes on counts of murder, felony murder, attempted murder, malicious assault, burglary, conspiracy and two counts of assault during the commission of a felony and two counts of first-degree robbery. The charges were contained in an indictment returned by a grand jury, which was seated for the October term of circuit court in Berkeley County.

A Martinsburg man accused of assaulting a man early Wednesday at a club in Berkeley County was arraigned Friday on one count of malicious wounding, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court documents. Jerome Daniel Redman of 621 N. High St. was also arraigned on one count of possession of a controlled substance, crack cocaine, with intent to deliver in an unrelated case, the court documents said. Alexander Taylor, the victim in the attack at Dub V Pub at 1544 Winchester Ave., was taken to City Hospital in Martinsburg and then transferred to Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., for treatment, the documents said.

A Martinsburg attorney is accused of pointing a handgun at several people and threatening to shoot them at a boat dock party in the Whitings Neck area of Berkeley County in August, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Michael Shawn Santa Barbara, 52, of 45 Radnor Lane, Martinsburg, was arraigned Wednesday on five misdemeanor counts of brandishing and one misdemeanor count of battery by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg, according to court documents. Santa Barbara, who could not be reached for comment Wednesday, was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond, according to court records.

A 22-year-old man accused of stealing an air conditioner and copper parts from other air conditioners in the Martinsburg area was arrested Friday, according to charging  documents. Claude Joseph Hartman Jr., aka "CJ," was arraigned Friday afternoon by Berkeley County Magistrate Sandra L. Miller on three felony counts of grand larceny and one count of attempted grand larceny, the court documents said. Hartman, who was being held in Eastern Regional Jail on a $40,000 bond Friday evening, was identified from surveillance video and photographs, according to court documents and jail records.

A former custodian at Hedgesville High School is accused of sexual assaulting an 18-year-old woman this summer while the school was being cleaned, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Kenneth Weigle, 64, 555 Mauve Road, Hedgesville, retired from Berkeley County Public Schools on Aug. 16 as a result of the allegations, school officials said Friday. Weigle was arraigned Friday by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg on one count of second-degree sexual assault, one count of sexual abuse by a person of trust and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court records.

A Mississippi man charged in a March 17 vehicle crash that killed a Waynesboro, Pa., woman waived his arraignment Wednesday in the Franklin County (Pa.) Court of Common Pleas. David Michael Szumigala, 21, is charged with third-degree murder, vehicular homicide and 17 other counts. He has been held without bail since the accident in which 45-year-old Judithann "Judy" Clement died. The collision occurred near the intersection of Pa. 16 and Grant Street in the Borough of Waynesboro.

The blood-alcohol level of a man charged last month with drunken driving in the death of Harry Lee Franks Jr. of Inwood, W.Va., was more than four times the legal limit, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. David Wayne McDaniel, 48, of 1545 Sulphur Springs Road, Inwood, W.Va., was arraigned Friday on one felony count of DUI with death, and misdemeanor counts of driving revoked for DUI and no insurance by Magistrate Harry L. Snow, according to court records. Franks, 46, of 151 Franks Road, was killed and McDaniel was injured when the pickup truck they were riding in on May 9 overturned in the 2100 block of Arden Nollville Road, police have said.
