A Berkeley County woman accused of taking part in a robbery of her boyfriend in August was arraigned Wednesday on multiple felony charges in Berkeley County Magistrate Court, according to court documents. Rebecca Lynn Sims of 264 Sumter Drive, Martinsburg, was arraigned on single counts of first-degree robbery, malicious wounding and two counts of conspiracy to commit the crimes on Aug. 19, according to court documents. Sims, 27, also was arraigned by Magistrate JoAnn Overington on one felony count of conspiracy to uttering in a separate case, according to court documents.

Jeffrey E. Miles Sr., who is charged with killing two people, waived mandatory arraignment Wednesday in the Franklin County (Pa.) Court of Common Pleas and had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf in the case involving a 17-year-old female beaten to death. Miles, 49, of State Line, Pa., is charged with criminal homicide in the 1995 death of Waynesboro, Pa., teenager Angie Lynn Daley. Her remains were found in April 2010 on a farm in southern Franklin County. The same day that Daley's remains were discovered, law enforcement officials found a Hagerstown woman's body in the woods off Ninth Street in Waynesboro.

A Berkeley County man is accused of bartering prescription medication for secretarial services, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. George H. Van Wagner, 59, of 56 Majestic Court, Martinsburg, was arraigned Tuesday by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, according to court documents. Van Wagner was being held in Eastern Regional Jail Wednesday night on a $100,000 bond, according to court and jail records. He is accused of providing three valium tablets to a confidential informant Tuesday in exchange for yet to be provided secretarial services, according to a complaint filed in magistrate court by West Virginia State Police Cpl. J.M. Walker.

A 56-year-old Hedgesville, W.Va., man is accused of sexually abusing and assaulting an 11-year-old girl last month, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Michael Douglas Brown, of 192 Butterfly Lane, was arraigned by Magistrate Sandra L. Miller on a total of four felony and misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and assault, according to court documents. Brown was being held Thursday night at Eastern Regional Jail on an $85,000 bond, according to court and jail records.

Jomo Kenyatta Morris wasn't dressed up as the Hamburglar, but he appears to have acted out at least a portion of the role in real life at a couple's home in Martinsburg early Wednesday. Morris, who was arraigned Wednesday morning on one felony count of night time burglary, apparently burglarized a home in the 100 block of South Kentucky Avenue hours earlier to make a sandwich, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records. Morris, 23, of no fixed address, was being held in Eastern Regional Jail Wednesday night on a $20,000 bond set by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg, according to jail and court records.

The man charged in the shooting death of a Chambersburg teenager was arraigned in Franklin County this week, Chambersburg police said. Steffawn Spriggs, 23, is accused in the slaying of 18-year-old Calvin Warren James Beam last month. Spriggs, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree murder, recklessly endangering another person, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and persons not to possess, use, control or transfer a firearm. Chambersburg police said Spriggs was arraigned via video arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Larry Pentz on Tuesday.

One of three people to be charged in connection with an Aug. 26 carjacking along Golf Course Road was arraigned Friday in Berkeley County Magistrate Court. Lisa Marie Horne, 26, of Ranson, W.Va., was arraigned by Magistrate Jim Humphrey on single counts of first-degree robbery, grand larceny and accessory to robbery, according to court documents. Preliminary hearings in magistrate court for co-defendants Brad Lee Waldron, 25, of Purcellville, Va., and Paula Christina Killian, 26, of Martinsburg, who face the same charges, are scheduled for next month, according to court records.

A Falling Waters, W.Va., woman accused of dealing heroin was arraigned Monday in Berkeley County Magistrate Court, months after police seized about 14 grams of the drug and more than $4,000 from her residence, according to court records. Jennifer Nicole Billings, 19, of 77 Alamo Lane, was charged in a warrant last month with one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to court documents. Billings was arraigned on the charge Monday by Berkeley County Magistrate Joan V. Bragg, who set a $5,000 bond for the defendant, according to court documents.

A Bunker Hill, W.Va., woman is accused of forging a record to support a claim that she was a certified public accountant, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court documents. Melissa T. Grove, 40, of 175 Charming Lane, was arraigned Friday on one count of forgery of a public record by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg, according to court documents. The West Virginia Board of Accountancy forwarded a complaint concerning the alleged fraud to Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney Pamela Games-Neely's office last month, according to court documents.

Police said a man charged in the May armed robbery of a club in Martinsburg told officers that he worked for a lawn service and had mowed grass at the business, according to court documents. Shane Lee McGrain, 36, of 8224 Tuscarora Pike in Martinsburg, was arraigned Wednesday on one count of armed robbery by Berkeley County Magistrate Joan V. Bragg, according to court documents. McGrain is accused of taking $3,453 from Club 313 at 930 Foxcroft Ave. on May 16, according to court documents.
