Allegany powers past HCC By BOB PARASILITI firstname.lastname@example.org The coaching profession is great for cliches. In basketball, one of the favorite is "offense wins games, defense wins league titles and rebounding wins championships. " On Sunday, Allegany College had 50 rebounds to Hagerstown Community College's 30 in the Region XX Division I championship game. 'Nuff said. The Trojans did another inside job on HCC, leaning on burly pivotman Terry Taylor for 27 points and 15 rebounds to outmuscle the Hawks in a 90-70 victory for the region title at the HCC athletic complex.
